Automated tube cutting system combines material handling, software, and single CNC workstation
Han-Kwang offers the series TL automated tube cutting system. It combines tube cutting technology with material handling, tubing software, and a single CNC workstation for nearly nonstop production of round, square, and rectangular tubes and shapes.
The TL6015 system comprises four major parts: an automatic bundle feeding system, a rotary chucking system, a cutting station, and a part removal station. It handles materials up to 20 ft. long and 6 in. in diameter. Maximum positioning speed is 4,724 IPM (X axis).
The 2,500-W Panasonic laser cuts mild steel to 0.25 in. thick and stainless to 0.2 in. thick.
