Laser cutting system serves entry-level needs

Balliu MTC nv offers the RP, a cost-effective laser cutting machine for companies that switch from outsourcing to in-house production of laser-cut parts. The machine is designed for accuracy and flexibility more than high-volume production, the company reports.

The standard machine has a fixed pallet of 59.05 by 118.11 in. A cantilever arm next to the cutting area performs loading and unloading. The machine can be equipped with a 2-, 2.5-, 3-, 3.5-, or 4-kW slab laser. Pallet options include fixed table, manual pallet, or automatic pallet changer. An optional rotating axis allows tube cutting.
