Multiaxis laser cutting machine includes rotary indexing table

TRUMPF has released the second-generation TruLaser Cell 8030, a multiaxis machine designed for laser cutting of hot-stamped 3-D components.

The modular machine features a highly dynamic rotational changer and new rotary indexing table, which features up to three workstations. The areas for loading and unloading are completely separate from each other, facilitating semiautomatic operation. Loading/unloading can be done by two people, or a single person can load the machine while a robot unloads the system, while the system is processing a part.

The user can select the laser that is employed. The TruDisk 2000 is a 2-kW, solid-state laser for complex part processing. For applications requiring higher laser power, such as for producing long cuts in larger parts, laser power is available up to 4 kW.
