System cuts mild steel, stainless, aluminum tube
The LT2000 laser cutting system from AltaMAR Laser and Control is suitable for tubes as small as 0.125 in. and as large as 1.0 in.
Available with CO2, YAG, and fiber laser sources, the system cuts mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The back-strike system prevents the formation of debris on the ID of the tube. The system accepts tubes up to 12 ft.
The controller is PC-based with a touchscreen user interface and operates with standard G and M codes. An editor with programming tools is provided to generate programs for profiled ends and common internal features. High-level programming tools are available to generate programs with imported CAD geometry.
