Pulsed Nd:YAG lasers have pulse-to-pulse stability down to ±0.5 percent

JK Lasers has released two new pulsed Nd:YAG lasers. Designed for industrial processing, the lasers provide high peak powers and beam quality for welding and fine-cutting applications.

The JK80PS allows peak powers of up to 3 kW to be delivered via a 100-μm fiber, and the JK150PS enables 5 kW to be delivered via a 150-μm fiber. All fibers are equipped with JK Luminator™ plug-in, prealigned (PIPA) technology with integral back reflection protection. A built-in fiber continuity monitoring system (FCMS) helps improve safety.

Both lasers have pulse-to-pulse stability down to ±0.5 percent and include pulse on demand (POD) and the JK LaserView™ software suite. The suite includes integral scanner control software designed for welding and cutting applications.

Features include pulse shaping capabilities, fast shutter interface, and fully integrated time and energy shares.
