Jigsaw blades fit universal, Bosch shank saws

L.S. Starrett Co. has introduced its Unified Shank™, a line of jigsaw blades that have a new shank design that is compatible with both universal shank and Bosch shank jigsaws, eliminating the need for different blades for different saws.

The line comprises of 16 blades suitable for any jigsaw cutting application and all jigsaws.

The blades have the company's Bi-Metal Unique™ saw technology, which it says provides for fast cutting, long life, and more breakage resistance. It utilizes a new method of bonding the high-speed steel to the backing material, providing more weld contact area.
