CNC turret punch press handles large or oversized workpieces up to 60 by 157 in.

LVD Strippit has introduced the Strippit M-1525 midrange, 20-metric-ton, CNC turret punch press. It handles large or oversized workpieces up to 60 by 157 in. with one sheet repositioning, making it suitable for the fabrication of large panels in cellular manufacturing or job shop environments.
The 47-station turret helps minimize setup time. Three 3.5-in. stations and four 2-in. stations accommodate large punching and forming operations. Each station accepts shaped punches and dies; indexable multitools can be added to expand turret capacity. Quick-change die holders help minimize tool changeover time.
The punch press accepts special forming tools, wheel-style tooling, tapping, and deburring systems. Hardened steel guide bushings and hardened shot pins provide precise alignment of punch and die for improved hole quality and tool life. Bidirectional turret rotation automatically selects the shortest possible route to the next punching station for station-to-station positioning.
