Electric hand-held beveling tool offers new milling head design

Saar-Hartmetall USA has announced the availability of its upgraded SMA30E hand-held beveling tool. It features a new milling head design that uses dice-shaped inserts that now have eight cutting edges instead of the typical four cutting edges. The new milling head design also allows for quick changeover.

Employing a 1,700-W motor, the lightweight tool can produce straight and radius bevels up to 3/8 in. at 30, 45, and 60 degrees.
