Enclosed 5-axis machining center requires small floor space

Diversified Machine Systems (DMS) offers the Euro 5 CNC 5-axis machining center, designed to comply with the latest CE standards. The enclosed machining center contains airborne dust and debris to comply with health and safety standards. Its small footprint helps minimize factory floor space required.

Features include Fagor 8065 controls; Fagor Sercos drives and motors; an HSD ES779, 12-kW, liquid-cooled spindle with a heavy-duty, casting-style yoke; a 1.5-in.-thick, customer-configured aluminum table; a 12-position, dust-free tool rack; a remote hand wheel; a Renishaw tool length setter with automatic 5-axis alignment verification; an automatic lubrication system; and bellow covers on all axes.

Options include Fagor volumetric compensation, Fagor absolute linear scales with thermal compensation, continuous C-axis rotation, compressed air and cool air guns, quick fixture tables, a digitizing/teach pendant, Renishaw IR probes, a bar code reader, and a dashboard monitoring system.
