Emuge Corp. has introduced Emuge-Franken TiNox-Cut, a new series of end mills developed to machine tough materials. The end mills process nickel alloys such as INCONEL® 718, Nimonic®, Waspaloy®, titanium 6A1-4V, and tough steels like stainless 316.

The mills' variable flute spacing and serrated chip breaker profile along the cutting edge provide a high material removal rate for roughing and semifinishing, according to the manufacturer. Made from an ultrafine carbide grade, the tools feature a high-heat-resistant, multilayer, TiN/TiAlN coating. Flat ends are standard, and a selection of corner radii is optional.

The end mills feature an h11 shank tolerance and a notch in the shank for mechanical clamping. They are available in diameters from 0.25 to 1 in.
