Solid-carbide end mills made for smooth machining, chip evacuation

Haimer GmbH has introduced Power Mill solid-carbide end mills. Made from fine-grain carbide, they are equipped with the company's Safe-Lock™ pullout protection system.

Their geometries are based on an unequal flute and helix design for chatter-free machining. All tools are PVD-coated and have a very smooth surface for chip evacuation. Available in cutting diameters from 0.08 to 0.79 in., the end mills have three, four, or five cutting edges with multiple lengths of cut. A roughing geometry with a cord profile also is part of the portfolio.
