Vegetable-derived metalworking lubricant designed for roll forming, deep-hole drilling

QualiChem has introduced EQO-Pure 452, a vegetable-based, water-soluble lubricant for severe hardened steel and stainless steel machining applications.

The heavy-duty micro-emulsion fluid with EP additives is formulated to help improve tool life and part quality while eliminating foaming and staining, states the company. It is designed for use in applications such as boring, deep-hole drilling, gun drilling, reaming, roll forming, tapping, and threading.

The lubricant is formulated for use on ferrous or nonferrous metals when high levels of boundary and EP lubrication are required. It provides corrosion control for ferrous metals and machine tools.
