Toshiba Machine Co. America has introduced the TUE-100 vertical turning lathe, designed for high-speed, heavy-duty cutting with a maximum load up to 4,400 lbs. Two types of bearings support the radial and axial loads of the table.
With a 200- by 138- by 174-in. footprint, the machine offers feed rates up to 6.56 FPM.
