Pads help keep punch tips lubricated throughout punching process

Mate's new Eliminator™ patent-pending lubrication pads help keep punch tips lubricated throughout the punching process to prevent galling and other problems. The pads reduce heat buildup in the punch to help extend tool life while maintaining quality edges to punched parts.

The pads fit inside thick-turret tooling assembly sizes A through E, as well as other tooling styles. Once the pad is inserted, the user punches the hole into the pad and saturates it with 46 to 68 ISO viscosity hydraulic oil. The pads then help ensure even distribution of lubricant on the punch.
