Hydraulic upender facilitates loading, tilting steel coil 90 degrees

Pentalift Equipment Corp. has designed a coil-handling upender for a manufacturer of medium and large transformers.
The 60,000-lb.-capacity upender facilitates a process of loading and tilting a steel coil 90 degrees to begin the decoiling procedure. Both platforms are 8 ft. wide and 16 ft. long. Counterbalanced valves are hard plumbed to the double-acting cylinders to help ensure safety by preventing load runaway when tilting or hydraulic hose failure.
