Plasma lifter has magnetic collision sensor

MG Systems and Welding has introduced the OL200s plasma lifter. The lifter features smooth drive motion and contact-sense initial height sensing to set the pierce height precisely.
A small limit switch provides a secondary method of detecting heavily primed plate or meeting underwater cutting requirements. A magnetic collision sensor protects the torch from damage during normal cutting conditions.
The lifter is available on EdgeMate and EdgeMaster machine models. For thin sheet, the company offers a roller ball height control when pressure is required to keep the material flat.
