Press-to-press transfer system designed for enhanced productivity

Rexcon Controls and Automation, a division of Electrex Co. Inc., has introduced Production Pro Line Supervisor and Vision De-Stacker, which comprise a press-to-press transfer system designed to reduce startup and downtime.

The Production Pro Line supervisor enables the press line robots to determine the optimal production speed automatically. The system can be programmed with up to 2000 variables per job, which can be copied easily into new applications.

Vision De-Stacker employs a line robot to lift single sheets of stacked steel, one at a time, onto a vision table where a camera takes a photograph. The information is relayed to the next robot, which correctly aligns the sheet before it's placed in the press.

Both products are standalone operations that can be added to existing lines.
