Suction cups offer stability at high speeds

Piab has introduced XP DURAFLEX® cups (0.39 to 4.33 in.), designed with a single bellows. According to the company, the cups stay stable when in motion, allowing users to run their robots or production lines at high speeds while maintaining accuracy and precision.

The suction cups combine firm bellows with soft, flexible lips made from a material that features the elasticity of rubber and wear resistance of polyurethane, making them suitable for uneven and porous surfaces. The material is mark-free and contains no paint wetting impairment substances.

The single-bellows version has a lower building height than multibellows cups, allowing it to fit in limited-space applications. Additionally, the single bellows provides a higher lifting force, so each cup is able to lift heavier loads.
