Multitasking machine processes raw material to finished workpiece in single setup

Mazak offers the Integrex i-200S, which processes midsize, complex components through twin turning spindles and a milling spindle with the power of a vertical machining center spindle.

Featuring a footprint of 157.1 by 110.2 in., the machine turns, drills, taps, and mills while offering off-centerline and full simultaneous five-axis contouring. It incorporates all processes from raw material input through final machining in a single setup.

Both turning spindles provide speeds of 5,000 RPM, C-axis turning control, and 3-in.-dia. bore capacity. The main headstock features an integral spindle/motor design that can accommodate applications from heavy-duty cutting at low speed to high-speed cutting of aluminum and other nonferrous materials. The second spindle also features an integral spindle/motor for secondary operations.

The vertically mounted milling spindle provides 30 HP, 12,000 RPM, and a rotating B axis from -30 to 240 degrees. The roller cam drive for the B axis helps ensure accuracy, rigidity, and zero backlash. A 36-tool (72-tool optional) magazine allows for fast tool changes.
