Metalworking fluid inhibits bacterial problems

Lubricut 1117 from Chemtool Inc. is a chlorine-free, semisynthetic-based metalworking fluid designed for daily and general applications with aluminum and ferrous alloys. It is formulated for lubricity, wetting, multimetal corrosion prevention, and biostatic protection.

The emulsifier and detergency package inhibits bacterial problems and hard water soap formation typically associated with traditional soluble-oil metalworking fluids. The fluid also uses a very high-viscosity base oil blend for increased boundary film lubrication and film strength on machined and ground surfaces. It contains 15 percent hydrocarbon oil.
