Tungsten carbide designed for low-impact wear parts

Cerbide Inc. has introduced Cerbide™, a polycrystalline tungsten carbide material for manufacturing low-impact wear parts.

According to the company, the combined properties of ceramics and cemented tungsten carbide allow the material to perform at measurably higher levels of abrasion and erosion resistance than tungsten carbide. It is long-lasting in both wet and dry low-impact applications and demonstrates high corrosion resistance in both acids and caustic solutions.
