Robots offer long and extended reaches

Yaskawa Motoman offers MH50 II series robots. Their flexible design allows them to be used for applications such as machine and press tending, material cutting and handling, coating, and dispensing.

The long reach of the robot and the extended reaches of the MH50 II-35 and MH50 II-20 models make the robots suitable for processing large parts. The extended-reach models can eliminate the need for an external track. Internally routed cables and hoses help minimize interference and facilitate programming.

Wide work envelopes with small interference zones allow the robots to be placed in close proximity to workpieces and equipment to help reduce floor space requirements. The robots have brakes on all axes and can be mounted on the floor, wall, or ceiling.

The robots use the DX200 controller, which includes patented multiple-robot control technology to handle multiple tasks and control up to eight robots, I/O devices, and communication protocols.
