Mobile abrasive waterjet system mounted to steel base with forklift access points

OMAX® Corp. has developed mobile JetMachining® centers for oil field maintenance, high-rise steel construction, shipbuilding, and commercial industries supporting government programs. The abrasive waterjet machines are mounted to a steel base with forklift access points so they can be moved. The model 2626, model 2652, and model 5555 waterjet machines are available for the mobile unit configuration.

System components rest on an epoxy-coated platform that features metal tie-down rings for secure shipping. Manufacturers also can move the system with an overhead crane using the platform’s provided corner eyebolts.

Each machine includes a direct-drive pump, a pump chiller, a water softener system, and a 100-lb. bulk hopper for abrasive storage. Quick-disconnects for air, power, and water allow operators to have the system up and running in a matter of minutes, the company states.
