Circular cold saw offers speed of abrasive saw

Pat Mooney Saws has introduced the Saturn circular cold saw. According to the manufacturer, the saw offers the speed of an abrasive saw and the capacity of a traditional band saw.

With its cutting accuracy, squareness, large capacity, and pivoting saw, the machine is suitable for a variety of iron, steel fabrication, and machine shops. The swivel saw head, which has a precision protector, miters 0 to 45 degrees left and 0 to 60 degrees right. Miter from the left to the right is a quick changeover.

The saw comes with precision carbide blade guides with roller guides. It is equipped with a direct-drive motor gearbox. Control voltage is 24 V. The infinitely variable-speed motor is controlled via an Omron inverter.
