CNC profile cutting machine features single tool carriage capable of carrying two tools

Retro Systems has announced the launch of the Hornet H series CNC profile cutting machines. They include a Hypertherm® PC-based CNC, heavy-wall steel tubing machine frame and gantry beam, precision-ground linear ways on the X and Y axes, AC servomotors, and low-backlash planetary gearboxes.

The series includes the HS™ single-side-drive and the HD™ dual-side-drive cutting machines. Both models have a single tool carriage that can carry a maximum of two tools. The HS model is available in 5- and 6.5-ft. widths. The HD model comes in widths of 5, 6.5, and 8 ft. Cutting lengths are either 12 or 20 ft.
