Plasma cutter offers high power-to-weight ratio

Thermal Dynamics®, an ESAB brand, has unveiled its new Cutmaster™ 60i hand-held air plasma cutting system. According to the company, the system provides the industry’s highest power-to-weight ratio in its class. It also incorporates an oversized digital interface.

New functions include a gas optimizer that regulates air pressure, a consumables end-of-life indicator, and a multivoltage auto-detect feature that enables the unit to connect automatically with primary power from 208 to 480 V, 50 or 60 Hz.

The integral four-handle design simplifies lifting and carrying of the unit. The handles also add protection and allow users to wrap the work clamp and torch around the unit when moving it.
