Pressure vessel machinery nearly eliminates layout time - TheFabricator.com

HGG has introduced a line of pressure vessel cutting machinery with 3-D steel profile cutting capability that combines plasma and oxyfuel processes. According to the manufacturer, the machinery reduces grinding, fitting, and welding time while nearly eliminating layout time.

The line includes the SPC 2500 chuck-type stationary pipe cutter with a patented, biaxial cutting head. Available for oxyfuel and plasma processes, it is suitable for all wall thicknesses. Another model, the MPC 350 multiprofile cutting machine, can be configured to cut a variety of profile shapes, including pipes, box sections, angle bars, and flat sheet metal strips.
