Angle grinder/sander accepts 7-, 9-in. wheels

Chicago Pneumatic offers the new CP3850 series industrial angle grinder/sander. The 2.8-HP unit weighs less than 6 lbs. and accepts both 7- and 9-in. wheels.
Features include a vibration-damping, multiposition side handle; autobalancer; double-action safety lever; and integrated silencer. The governed motor, offering up to 7,700-RPM free speed, delivers the torque required for high-productivity contouring, deburring, cutting, and sanding, states the company.
The grinder/sander is designed for metalworking in the manufacturing, metal transformation, and energy industries.
