Nibbler’s free-floating punch design extends use time

Kett Tool Co. has introduced the KL-2020 14-ga. nibbler, a lightweight, wrench-free nibbler featuring a rotating head. Its die design helps increase maneuverability for cutting sheet metal.

The nibbler can be locked into four different positions in 90-degree increments. A rotation of the hand changes the angle of the die, while the free-floating punch design helps extend time between replacements.

The machine cuts 14-ga. cold-rolled mild steel and most grades of stainless to 16 ga. The 4-amp, 2,500-RPM straight-handle tool is 10.5 in. long and weighs 4 lbs. It delivers a clean, burr-free cut of flat and corrugated sheet metal up to 65 IPM.
