Scissor shears’ swiping cut action seals material edges

Kett Tool offers the KD-441 scissor shears. The unit’s swiping cut action seals the edges of the cut material, reducing the likelihood of rust or corrosion.

The shears use a 5-amp, pistol-grip, variable-speed electric motor that cuts through cold-rolled mild steel up to 24 ga., wire mesh to 18 ga., spiral pipe, and metal studs at speeds up to 2,500 SPM.

The shears have an adjustable cutting speed that can be tailored. All shear heads feature A2 tool steel blades.
