All-mechanical part transfer system suitable for press or die mounting

The series 500 all-mechanical part transfer system from HMS Products Co. is suitable for press or die mounting. The system includes safety clutches to protect the drive train and tooling in X, Y, and Z motions—all axes are driven directly from the slide of the press.
Operators can incorporate the system into progressive or transfer applications and direct part flow from left to right or from front to back. Multiple tooling bars accommodate a family of products from a single transfer unit, and users can modify transfer motion and transfer timing by changing cams. The system may be adapted to QDC by incorporating optional swing-out provisions.
