Automatic nozzle changer eliminates operator intervention

TRUMPF Inc. offers a new nozzle changer for its the TC L 3050, TC L 4050, and TC L 6050 laser cutting machines. The automatic nozzle changer eliminates the need for operator intervention during job setup, enhances process safety, and provides additional flexibility in unattended multishift operations, the company says.
The automatic nozzle changer and one cutting head can perform many cutting tasks, including those requiring nozzle changes. It periodically replaces dirty or damaged nozzles or exchanges the nozzle whenever changing material type or thickness.
