Battery-powered scissor lift places loads at convenient height
- April 9, 2013

- Materials Handling
XBP series portable electric scissor lifts are available from Presto Lifts Inc. The battery-powered tables lift and lower at the touch of a button, allowing the operator to transport loads and lift them to a convenient height, regardless of the application. According to the company, they roll smoothly on any surface, even carpet, and can be stabilized with a foot-operated floor lock.
Suitable for transferring loads to and from workstations, picking orders, and positioning materials at production machines, or for use as a variable-height workstation, the lift eliminates repetitive bending, lifting, and carrying.
The lift handles capacities of 1,000, 1,500, or 2,000 lbs., depending on the model. The distance between the unit's lowered and raised heights can be 24 or 36 in. Maximum raised heights are 33 to 53.5 in. Each model comes with a choice of two platform sizes, from 24 by 36 in. to 48 by 60 in. Oversized and custom platforms also are available.
