Carbide drill designed for aluminum machining

Kennametal offers the HPS solid-carbide drill, made from Beyond™ KN15™ grade fine-grain carbide, for holemaking in aluminum. The drill’s highly polished surface reduces friction on flutes, margins, and cutting edges for good chip evacuation, even in minimum-quantity lubrication processes.

Features include a 135-degree drill point and an enlarged spiral flute design. The drill is available in diameters from 0.118 to 0.787 in. and lengths of 3xD and 5xD. Inch, metric, fractional, and tapping sizes are available.
