CNC ironworkers, punching machines introduced

June 14, 2010

Trilogy Machinery Inc. has introduced the Sunrise line of CNC ironworkers and CNC punching machines. On machines with a 20-in. or larger throat depth, an optional, factory-installed, semiautomatic CNC positioning table is available for plate and angle. The operator positions the plate against the CNC X and Y stops and initiates the punch program, nearly eliminating the need for manual plate layout.

The positioning systems feature dual 400-W servomotors, ball transfers, 590-IPM variable positioning speed, and ± 0.002-in. accuracy. Ball-bearing linear guideways on either side of the table help ensure parallelism. Optional accessories include hydraulic punch strippers, triple punch attachments, and upgraded controllers.
