Cordless hole puncher generates 11 tons of punching force

The new, battery-powered Hougen®-Ogura® model 76000PR Punch-Pro™ electrohydraulic hole puncher from Hougen Mfg. is suitable for on-site hole punching where power is not available or hard to access. It generates 11 tons of punching force for punching round or oblong holes up to 19/32 in. dia. in ¼-in. mild steel in 4.5 sec. With a throat depth of 0.98 in., the unit can punch flat bar or angle iron.

Weighing 17.4 lbs., the puncher is suitable for applications typically done with electric hand-held twist drills. The operator can position the tool when working in narrow or awkward positions by rotating the motor 360 degrees in either direction during operation. The punch can be jogged down to the center mark to confirm hole location accuracy.

The tool includes a power retractable punch system, which allows the user to power reverse the punch back out of hole.
