Knuth Machine Tools USA offers the SSB series heavy-duty drill press. The machine, available in four models, is designed for drilling, countersinking, reaming, and tapping. It features a motor up to 3 HP, a gearbox drive with drilling capacity up to 2 in., variable speed, and a motorized table. Thick-walled column construction provides rigidity.

The Super class machine has a fixed head, motorized swivel table, coolant, variable speed, and digital depth indicator. The standard XN class has a height- and swivel-adjusting head and table, as well as digital speed display. Three or four automatic drill feeds are activated and deactivated via an electromagnetic clutch.

Standard equipment includes a tapping feature, protective shield, coolant system, halogen work lamp, operating tools, and an operator’s manual.
