Electric stroke controls added to ironworker

Scotchman Industries has introduced the 5014-ET, a 50-ton, three-station turret hydraulic ironworker. The unit, based on the 5014-TM ironworker, now is equipped with standard electric stroke control to help improve accuracy.

The electric stroke eliminates almost all moving parts that exist in a mechanical system, helping to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting. It also eliminates human error from this portion of the metal fabrication process, the company states.
