Punch press tooling creates bends up to 90 degrees

Wilson Tool International® offers Opti-Bend tooling for punch press operations. The tooling allows sheet metal fabricators to create bends up to 90 degrees on the punch press, which helps eliminate the need for secondary operations at the press brake.

The tooling includes a rotating cam in the die that rotates and bends the material during the punching stroke, which simulates the cycling of a press brake with little or no sheet marking on soft or high-polished materials. It is available for use in thick-turret and TRUMPF-style punch presses.
