Wrench-free nibbler features free-floating punch design

Kett Tool Co. has introduced the KL-2020, a 14-ga. nibbler. The lightweight, wrench-free tool features a rotating head and a die design that allows maneuverability for cutting sheet metal.

The 4-amp nibbler can be locked into four different positions in 90-degree increments. The angle of the die is changed with a twist of the hand, while the free-floating punch design extends time between replacements, the manufacturer states.

It cuts 14-ga. cold-rolled mild steel and most grades of stainless to 18 ga. According to the company, the 10.5-in., 4-lb. nibbler delivers a clean, burr-free cut of flat and corrugated sheet metal up to 65 IPM.
