Lens, filter designed for underwater welding

Specialty Welds Ltd. offers a fully waterproof, autodarkening welding lens/filter for underwater wet welding.
The filter will fit into a standard Kirby Morgan welding assembly and provides a convenient welding or cutting accessory. Lifting the assembly up and down is unnecessary because the diver can see through the filter. The diver also can see for accurate restriking, improving welding quality and performance, the company reports.
The filter, powered by the arc, is selected to operate at No.10 and has a background filter strength set at No. 3.
