Long folders bend variety of shapes

Roper Whitney has introduced the Automax series of long folders. The line comprises three machines.

The Automax BZ offers the maximum amount of free space around the beams and handles mild steel up to 16 ga. The Automax bends mild steel up to 9 ga., and the Automax 180 can bend up and down.

Able to bend a variety of shapes, the machines are suitable for builders, metal part fabricators, and roofing companies that create complex profiles and need the flexibility and throughput of a long folding system.

The free space around the beams allows for many shapes to be manufactured. The optional slitter mounts below the folding beam, allowing this feature to be added at the time of purchase or at a later time. The ECS 904 control can auto-sequence the part, show the part in 3-D, and download and read DXF files.
