Arc flash protection system detects faults in low- and medium-voltage switchgear

ABB's new TVOC-2 Arc Guard System™ protects equipment and personnel from arcs and helps prolong the life cycle of equipment.
The safety device detects faults in low- and medium-voltage switchgear. According to the manufacturer, the unit clears an arc within an extremely short time, reducing the energy in the arc so that personal injury and equipment damage are minimized.
The flexible system can be mounted on a DIN rail or directly on a panel wall on both new installations and old switchgear.
