Autodarkening helmet has 30 percent larger window, improved out-of-position welding

Miller Electric Mfg. Co.’s Big Window Elite™ autodarkening helmets feature a 30 percent larger lens window than the company’s standard helmets and four independent arc sensors. The independent sensors improve out-of-position welding, the company says.

The helmets feature the company’s replaceable battery/solar assist Performance Series™ lens technology, permitting 3,000 hours of operating time before the two batteries need replacing. They also protect welders working in high-duty-cycle applications.

For comfort, the helmets incorporate operating room technology used by doctors—a form-fitting, foam rubber cushion that attaches to the back of the headgear.

The helmets are available in black, two flame patterns, and a patriotic Stars and Stripes design.
