Coded safety switch released in slim design

Pilz Automation Safety L.P. has released a slim-design version of its PSENcode coded safety switch, used to monitor the position of guards and for general position monitoring. In comparison with the compact-design version, this switch has a very low-profile housing (0.5 in. high) at the same width.

The switch can be installed on gates, covers, and flaps in up to four actuation and approach directions and two different operating distances. It meets the requirements of the new EN ISO 14119 in terms of fully coded and uniquely fully coded RFID safety switches and can be used up to PL e.
