Contact mat shuts down machines

ASN Safety Solutions' ASK safety contact mat is designed to safeguard hazardous areas in which working machinery can present a potential danger by stopping machinery.

Pressure on the mat triggers a control signal to stop a device immediately. The signal is sent by a surface area switch totally encased in polyurethane to ensure moisture impermeability.

Optional surface materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and oil-resistant coverings are available. Also available are fixing rails, ramp rails, and various cable versions.

The mats also can be used in applications such as controlling an automatic door.
