Cooling vests maintain 58 degrees F for four hours

Ergodyne has added three new cooling vests to its Chill-Its® phase change series. They offer a honeycomb cooling pack design for flexibility and a short, wide design for improved mobility for wearers. The adjustable hook-and-loop closure on the shoulders and waist allows for a customizable fit. Once packs are activated, cooling is immediate and remains at 58 degrees F for up to four hours.

The 6215 flame-resistant vest is available in khaki and high-visibility material. It is constructed of Modacrylic cotton-blend fabric that has an ATPV rating of 7.1 cal/cm2. The 6215HV vest comes in high-vis orange with reflective tape. An elastic pen loop is included on the front of the vest. The 6230 standard vest also is available.
