Dust collectors designed for open-area use

Donaldson® Torit® has introduced the Downflo® WorkStations (DWS) dust collectors, designed for in-plant areas where dirty and noisy operations are out in the open.

The modular, self-contained, ledgeless design workstations feature the company's patented Ultra-Web® oval-shaped cartridge filter media and ExtraLife™ filter cleaning technology, which cleans with 50 PSI of compressed air pressure. They are suitable for metalworking applications in which high filtration and reduced dust build-up inside the collector are requirements.

Requiring no hoods or ductwork, the energy-efficient units feature simple filter access, reduced filter changeouts, and reversible louver inlets that can be used high and low, depending on the application. Dust drawers and filters fit into Bag-Out bags for disposal.

The units are available in eight standard model configurations with five different booth options. Custom configurations can be designed by selecting panels, support trusses, and joining hardware.
