Dust collectors for metalworking, mining handle airflows of 5,000 to 50,000 CFM

Donaldson Co. Inc. has introduced the VH series of Torit® brand PowerCore® dust collectors for applications with abrasive dust in the metalworking and mining markets.

The collectors are designed to use up to 70 percent less floor space than some baghouses and cartridge collectors. No confined spaces help simplify filter changeouts.

The collectors handle airflows of 5,000 to 50,000 CFM. The single-hopper option and single air inlets/outlets help reduce ducting, installation, and material handling costs. The zero-turn pulse cleaning system forces dust directly down into the hopper, which decreases the chance of re-entrainment on adjacent filters.
