Extraction unit designed for removal of flammable dusts from laser processing

Ult AG has introduced the LAS 300.81-HFM054, an ATEX-certified extraction and filtration unit with H-class filtration that is suitable for the removal of combustible dusts.

The unit has been developed for extraction and filtration of dry dusts that occur during laser cutting, engraving, and structuring. The system features a combination of cartridge and storage filters. The filter element material helps ensure an efficient separation of various particulate matters.

The system’s main filtration module comprises two Class M cartridge filters with optional Teflon® coating that are cleaned by jet stream at regular intervals. The pneumatic dedusting helps increase main filter life. The secondary HEPA H14 filter helps ensure a separation rate of more than 99.995 percent.
